Michigan Court Says Wiccan Inmate at Macomb Correctional Can Continue Lawsuit Against the State

From June of 2019, a Michigan court agreed toallow an inmate sue the state after prison officials refused to allow him to celebrate Wiccan holidays. The Detroit Free Press stated that the complaint was filed in a federal appeals court by the inmate, 40-year old Mario Sentelle Cavin. He’d repeatedly asked authorities to let him participate in celebrations of Wiccan holidays.
